Important information about your stay

Check in / check out times

Parking your motorhome

Please be careful when parking your campervan, they are large vehicles and can be tricky to manoeuvre into the parking area if you are not used to operating them.  Please pay particular attention to the corner of the house roof / guttering when entering and exiting the property.  We recommend having a person outside the motorhome guide you in and out – we are happy to help.

Paying for your stay

Please arrange payment with the hosts prior to departure.  We accept cash or cleared bank transfer to our NZ bank account (ASB Bank 12-3084-0197827-00).  We also accept credit card payment via PayPal (transaction fee applies to card payments)

Power

There is a campervan power socket located by the side of the building.  You are welcome to plug this in to power your campervan when parked up.  Please don’t forget to unplug before you drive away.

Rubbish

Please use the rubbish bins on site, there are three bins:

Water

There is a water hose on the side of the building, you may use this to top up your camper's fresh water tank.  The water is safe to drink and does not need to be treated.

Smoking

When smoking please do so away from the building and in particular do not smoke near the gas bottles on the side of the building.  Please clean up any cigarette butts.

The nearest dump station is a 13 minute drive away at Rhodes Park on the Tai Tapu Rd. There is also a dump station at BP Russley Rd, Harewood - this is a 20 minute drive north and is a convenient location to empty your waste before dropping hire campers back at the airport.

Busses

There are regular busses into the city from our area.  Taking a bus is an easier and less stressful option to travel into the city than driving and parking a campervan.  The area is served by the 44 Route which will take you into the Bus Interchange in the city centre.  For bus timetables visit https://www.metroinfo.co.nz/.  Busses operate approximately every 30 mins during peak times, hourly outside of peak times.

Busses accept cash, they appreciate small change rather than large notes.  Typical fares into the city are $2.80

The nearest bus stop is on Cashmere Rd, oppose the Francis Reserve tennis court, a 6-minute walk away.

For return busses from the city catch the 44 to Westmorland and alight at Francis Reserve on Cashmere Rd.
